I am sure you have heard about the toy recalls from China.  When we were deciding where to have the Caboose made, we could have gone the easy route, certainly the cheaper route, and make it in China.  It was tempting to go with the lowest price, I'll admit.  In the end we decided to make it in America, not that a small, one-product company like ours really makes a difference to the economy.  But it meant something to us, to support our country in the way we could, and as it turns out it means a safer product for our children.   I once read a very moving lecture by Russell H. Conwell, entitled "Acres of Diamonds".  After you read this, I think you will agree, before going to the ends of the earth to seek your fortune, look in your own back yard.
